Burger King is removing plastic toys from their meals and also giving away free Junior meals when you swap in any old plastic toy this September.
Burger King is removing all plastic toys from their junior meals in the UK in a bid to cut down on plastic waste.
On top of that, head to a Burger King from today until 30 September, hand in a plastic toy and you'll get a free junior meal.
Check out the video (and I love the sly reference to McDonald's!)
Free Junior meal
It's not just for Burger King toys.
You can swap any old plastic toy you want.
According to a tweet seen by hotukdeals, the toys you can swap are:
- the ones given away with Burger King Junior meals
- similar free meals from toys in other restaurants
- free toys from confectionary items like ones in cereal boxes or magazines.
Burger King made the announcement on Twitter.
Just bring in your unwanted plastic toys to our restaurants and we'll recycle them into new ways to play! Show your toy at the counter between 19th September and the 30th September and you’ll get a free King Junior meal! #Meltdown #BKMeltdown

Time to have a hunt through the toy box!
Now, let's just wait and see if they lower the price now you get less for your money....
